This guy and I decided to have a sex-buddy (no strings, no feelings) relationship. We are both in non-married relationships and have kept each other a secret. It turns out that I am pregnant and I know for a fact that the father is the sex-buddy. I know this because of my calculated due date and the fact that my boyfriend was out of town for 3 weeks straight.
Instead of causing problems and drama for my sex-buddy, I sent him an email telling him that I was pregnant and that I don’t expect anything from him emotionally or financially. I also asked him not to contact me and that I would like to deal with it on my own. About an hour after I sent him that email, he texted me, “We need to talk”. I responded that I didn’t want to talk and that I wished he respected my wishes for him to leave me alone. He responded back, “You are unbelievable!!! You accuse me of getting you pregnant and now you won’t talk to me? I’m not joking when I say this but you talk to me or I take your *** to court.” After a few more texts back and forth, he said, “You’re right. There is no reason to talk.” And I haven’t heard any communication from him since – and this was yesterday.
I know that he can’t legally take me to court for this. And I didn’t ask anything of him, financially or emotionally or threaten him in any way.
So, my question is: why did he immediately have this reaction?? I don’t understand why his very first reaction would be to threaten to take me to court?
