I had a crush on someone named Lance. I was the one who added him first but he was the one who sent the first message because he said I looked familiar to him. From that moment on, we kept talking until he eventually started courting me.
He was a very kind person. While he was courting me, I never overthought things, felt sad, or felt like something was wrong. He even wanted to formally introduce himself to my mother. Whenever we were together, he was very gentleman and always treated me with great respect.
However, despite all of his green flags, I still was not satisfied. Suddenly, I realized that I no longer liked him, even though he had done nothing wrong. I did not have a good reason for feeling that way, so I simply became cold toward him. I wanted to leave him but at the same time, I did not want him to end up with another girl.
I liked him because of the way he treated me but I could not love him the same way he loved me.
