Does he even like me or just playing a game?

So there’s this guy I’m head over heels for but he’s such a tease!
He acts all nice and sweet with me one night, but the next just completely ignores me.
He says he likes me a lot and would totally date me but doesn’t right now because he lives and hour and a half away from where i do and we only get to see each other during summer and Christmas break.
Lately he has been playing this game where he just gets jealous if i text other guys or talk to them on the phone, but then again, he doesn’t text me or call?
Some days he can be the sweetest guy to me but others he acts like he just doesn’t care.
Is he just trying to pull the whole “hard to get” thing or do you think he just really isn’t interested?
or is there any way i can figure out if he really is?
My instincts tell me to text him but i think i probably shouldn’t. it sucks because I’m terrible at this!
I don’t want to text him when i shouldn’t about stuff i shouldn’t.
Should i just wait to see if he texts me?
I don’t wanna risk it because he’s the type that thinks id a girl doesn’t text him there not interested, but then again, if a girl text him and text him again after he didn’t answer the first time, he see’s it as that she’s been needy or obsessive. I don’t want him to think that of me! I don’t know what to do =( can anyone help?

OH BOY! I had that and still do.
I am married. but met this guy before I met my husband…
And he was playing the ‘hot and cold’ game with me, and it makes things harder when I am MILES away.
GOD knows if he was serious…
He is stil asking to meet up when I am over at where he is…
And I have kept my distance, with due respect to my marriage. Though I must say I fancied him big time.
But a tease is not worth the risk if he does not come clean with his intent.
Thats how I think, to keep me sane lol. 🙄
