There is this guy that i’ve known for 5 years. We’ve dated a couple times. Now i’ve come back from college and we’re talking again. He is telling me that he wants to be with me and that he has for 5 years but he isnt acting like it. He is blowing me off when i want to hang out, he wont answer my calls or texts. I think it’s because he is working all the time, and he has a baby on the way from his ex. Could he just be stressed out or not wanting to talk or is he really not interested in me like he says?

Your instincts are correct. 🙂 He’s stressed out because he’s about to become a father with his ex-girlfriend and he’s looking to use you as a distraction. I always tell readers to judge behavior as a better indicator of character than language. When words and actions don’t match up, as you’re finding with this guy, behavior trumps whatever he says.
