I have been dating my boyfriend for just over three years we have been through a lot together but he is a nice guy and has never cheated or treated me badly. We seem to be stuck in a rut over the last 6 months and its exhausting. I feel so unappreciated I do some much around the house and for him in general and yes he says thank you but he hasn’t taken me out for dinner or treated me to a romantic night out in over a year and it is killing me. He says he loves me and we have talked about marriage and kids but he seems so uncommital hes 28 and im 4 years younger I’m ready to settle down yet he seems to be more interested in his video games than talking about it. I don’t know what to do it feels like we a drifting apart but I don’t know what to do to bring us closer together he just pisses me off lately…I can’t even stand to be around him sometimes cause hes so lazy and he never has anything exciting to do.

Please Offer any advice you can…all views will help
Thank you for listening

When a man is ready to commit to you, he’ll act like it. You can read about this in Think & Date Like A Man, http://www.askapril.com/relationship-dating-advice/think-and-date-like-a-man.html, which I strongly suggest you do. Among other things, he’ll introduce you to his parents and friends, start going out with couples instead of single guys, and he’ll be in a certain place in his job or career. Your boyfriend is acting like he wants to be single, and you’re trying to wish him into someone he’s not. 😕

It’s time for you to move on and look for someone who’s compatible with you because he wants the same future that you do.

I hope that helps — let me know how it goes. And join me on Facebook — I’d love you to become a member of AskApril.com on Facebook at this link: . 😀
