I was dating my college sweetheart for two years, but I am the only person he has ever dated. Things were going great until we started talking about marriage, but I think we both sort of freaked out and started picking fights with each other because neither of us is ready for that type of commitment. I told him that he should date other girls and he has agreed. I just don’t know if it’s really over and I should move on or if this is a temporary break and we’ll get back together. Should I move on?
It sounds like you turned it into a permanent break when you told him he should date other girls! 😳 If he wants to get back together with you, he’ll ask you out on a date, but I don’t think he’s going to.
