sydney54607Member #174,639Me and this guy have been together for over a year. We love and care about each other a lot, but its really hard being in a relationship with him. Our lives are so completely different, his family doesn’t approve of us being together, and he’s so busy that he hardly ever has time for me. Lately I’ve been more depressed than happy with him… Missing him all the time and being disappointed when plans to see him fall through every single time. I just don’t know if I can do this anymore. I love him but it’s not working. Should I keep trying or not? Help…

ZennonMember #382,877If you’re not happy with what’s happening, maybe you shouldn’t continue it anymore because when things are forced, the outcome often isn’t good.
Time is important in a relationship, and it’s understandable if he is busy with work, but he still needs to make time for you because you are in a relationship.
As for his family, even if they don’t like you, that’s something you and your boyfriend should talk about. If he is willing to stand up for you, then there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. - MemberPosts
