    April,
I have recently just started to really date a guy and he is is really nice and treats me well, and all my female friends see how much he cares for me and they tell me, so I know that it has a possibility to turn into a LTR. My problem/concern is that my very close friend is a guy and he have known each other years and he has always been there when I needed someone even more than my family. The guy I am seeing in jealous of my friendship even though he has no reason to be in my opinion because I spend every chance we have together, I don’t talk/text my friend when we are together ect. he always has my undivided attention.. Yes I have had a physical relationship in the past with my friend, but it is not what the friendship is based on and I am a faithful, honest person and have never cheated in a relationship and would never. I believe if you feel the need to cheat then you are not with the rite person. With that being said if I choose to continue into a LT committed relationship would it be the rite thing to end my friendship to make the other guy happy even though I would be losing my best friend??

Yes, if you decide to continue dating this guy (or pretty much any other guy), you should end the friendship you have with your former lover. 😕 Most guys you will meet will have trouble with you being such close friends with a former lover. The man in your life will want to be number one — and that means the only man in your life. 😉 And most women will want the same in reverse. My advice is that you choose close friends who are women, and let this friend who you once had a sexual relationship with, go.
