I’m sorry that you feel you’ve made a mistake. I don’t know the details about why you broke up with her, so I can only give you general advice. If you’re sure you did the right thing, then you should focus on moving on — break ups are painful and difficult, but you can use discipline and directed energy to surround yourself with supportive family and friends and stay busy. If you made a mistake and want to apologize and try to date her again, then you should do so. But it sounds like the pain you’re in is because you’re uncertain of what to do. That has less to do with her, and more to do with you… knowing yourself is key. Knowing what your deal breakers are and why they’re your deal breakers will help you figure out if this break up was a mistake or not.
