Hi April,
My name is Zennon and I’m 18. This is my first date with a girl I really like. I’m excited but I’m also nervous because I’m afraid I might run out of things to say and it might get awkward. I kinda feel a little shy But I still wanna keep the convo flowing and get to know her without it feeling like an interview.

I’ve thought about asking about the usual stuff, hobbies, favorite movies, school or work, but not sure if that’s enough. Are there any questions or convo starters that actually make a first date fun and meaningful? How do you keep it light but still learn about each other?

My advice is don’t be nervous and just be natural. Don’t overthink what you’re going to say because there’s really no perfect wording for things like that. Just let the conversation flow naturally wherever it takes you — that’s actually better. You don’t need to pressure yourself.
