I was hoping I can get some advice from some ladies here…

I was in a great relationship, or at least I thought I was. After college my girlfriend decided she needed a break after I started questioning our sex life and mentioning she should see a therapist on why she is so up-tight in bed. Her therapist mentioned she is holding back because of problems with her father. She also started thinking about how she needs to be young and single before we go any further in our relationship. She wants to be independent while starting her new teaching career. The problem I feel is that we already were very independent and never held each other down from going out with friends or needing time to hang out alone. I figured I would let her go through with a break to let her do whatever she wants. It has been about 3 months now and I cannot spend another day without her. I gave her space but she seems to enjoy the single life too much but has not been dating anyone. She says thinks we will be back together one day and my friends and family say I can

Move on with your life. It may be the hardest thing to do or even think of right now, but, believe me, you need to quit torturing yourself. If she’s not ready to get back together with you, you can’t force it. Or her. Ever heard the saying “If you get the boot, substitute”? Get yourself out there and start socializing. Mingle. Stop obsessing about her. Look into other women’s eyes. See yourself as a confident, vibrant, eligible man. It may not happen right away, but you need to start somewhere.
