ParticipantAbout this girl: She’s a really pretty girl but also the kind that when you look at her, you think she’s really not friendly. Her group of friends mainly are about latino’s and blacks, bad influence mostly (not being racist). Wrong, she is also very pretty in the inside and REALLY open. She had many boyfriends, slept with 2 (but it wasn’t as special with me) and our relationship was her longest. I was the first serious boyfriend to be presented to her parents and the first to whome she said: I love you. We have so many pictures together and memories. At 80 years old, we would open our Yearbook and read about each other. That we would never forget about each other. It really felt like the whole world was with us and the signs meant that we were made for each other. We were from two different world and yet, we found each each other. That I was completly different from what she had.
History:
So first of all, I’ve dated this girl for EXACTLY 9 months and it was my first relationship. Around the 7 and 8h month, we started to have our ”phase’ of many arguments and issues. It was for stupid reasons but stills. At some point, we had one huge argument and she decided to break up. I told her to think about it, that we would could work it out and she came back to me the next day. When we got back together, I told her from now on, we should really communicate to each other and should try to both change a bit what we didn’t like in each other. That we would try to do it together step by step. So the week that followed the break up was really PERFECT. She told me she loved me and vice-versa. We’ve had our 9month anniversary that same week (it was a saturday) and the next day, she broke up with me. She told me she had really thought about it the whole day and because of all the arguments and issues, her feelings for me really lowered and that I should move on and forget about her. She told me it wasn’t my fault, that I was perfect and that honestly she doesn’t think that she could find another guy who could treat her as right as I did. At first I thought she told me that just to make me feel better but I learned she actually told the same things to others who have told her that she would find better. She replied no and etc. Obviously, I tried to win her back. Asked her friends for help, telling her I love her. Almost every one of her girlfriends told her she made a mistake, that it was normal to feel that way. Her parents did the same. It felt like the whole world was on our side. They even called me to tell me I was the one for their girl. A week after this break up, she messaged me telling me she knew I wasn’t trying to forget her. So we talked on the phone, I really told her how I felt about all this. She got mad, told me to simply forget her and move on and that I should understand that. That her feelings for me have vanished a lot and that she isn’t going to change her mind. So here I am, telling myself that time will decide but that I will always keep a little hope but move on with life. That I will leave about 3-4 weeks of space then regain contact with her as a friend and slowly grow back into a relationship. I cried for 4 days.
What do you guys think?
